Here at Southern Tier Outfitters we put together the best pedigree to ensure we have the best calves possible.

We do Single Sire Mating.  Each calf is tagged after birth to ensure positive match to the cow.

We leave the calves on their mothers until they are consuming our custom feed.  We then deworm and vaccinate each calf and put them in a fresh pen by themselves so that they do not have to compete for food.

We had a great 2010/2011 breeding season with 11 beautiful, healthy calves born here on the farm.

This is Candy and Silverado.  They were both born this past calving season.

We are looking forward to the 2011/2012 calves that will be born in May.
